Then the drive to the river tummel, a very nice area.  We got off and carried the raft down to the shore by the river so we could begin our journey!

At first, we got a brief training on what to do, how to pull people out of the water and other safety aspects. Then we got started, at first it was smooth but once we hit the rapids – wow! it was a rush!

The raft almost turned over at one stage!

But that wasn’t the end of it – we hit a big rapid and two of us fell out – me included!  We were ok, but it happened a few times – the water was really cold but it was all fun and we were laughing about being taken away by the water.

I highly recommend it as its a great buzz and i really enjoyed it.
